Sawdust or Shavings?
There are two ways to do woodwork. One is by using loud power tools such as table saws, drills, planers, sanders, and joiners, making trillions of pieces of sawdust in the process.
The second way is to use quiet, hand tools such as block planes, draw knives, chisels, handsaws, and hand mills. All these tools make shavings.
Over 42 years in business going a hundred miles an hour, making sawdust, I’ve come to realize that I’m more of a shavings kind of guy. Peace and quiet in the shop (most of the time). Nice.
